YouTube Channel or www.tmnt033090.com .The 30th Anniversary of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" marks the first ever reunion of the original cast with the film’s fearless leader, Director Steve Barron and Henson Co. Chairman and “Creature Shop” innovator, Brian Henson. TMNT’s ground breaking animatronics brought the coming-of- age story of four teenage turtles and their Zen Master father-figure rat, Splinter to life, landing it on the 1990 top ten list of highest grossing movies. Thirty years later the film’s cult following continues to grow and TMNT remains beloved worldwide.
Conceived and hosted by actress Judith Hoag who originated the role of April O’Neil, with original Producer Kim Dawson, Craig Harriman of Beachside Media and with original writer Bobby Herbeck, this virtual reunion is an opportunity to thank house-bound fans for their three decades of unwavering devotion and love. Premiering on May 23rd, “World Turtle Day tm” the reunion will act as a “call to action" for The American Tortoise Rescue * a non-profit organization that has been raising a awareness about the plight of the Tortoises and Turtles worldwide. ATR works to prevent the illegal sale of turtles and to abolish the “live food market" sale and consumption of turtles. Additionally the gathering will benefit The First Responder’s Children’s Foundation **. The First Responder’s Children’s Foundation was created on September 11, 2001 and provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardships due to tragic circumstances. First Responders Children’s Foundation also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by law enforcement and firefighting organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.
